The first thing you should know is that I hate writing “About me” type of things…
Second, I love God with all of my heart. He has blessed me beyond what I could ever have expected and I look forward to seeing what He will do with my future. He gets me through my struggles, blesses me with joy and happiness, and loves me unconditionally. I thank Him every day for the portion I have been given and the family and friends He fills my life with.
I’m 26, and live in a suburb of Chicago but am moving with my husband and three pooches to the beautiful St. Augustine, FL in the next few months or so (whenever the house sells). My husband, Colby, is the best! My dogs are the best “kids” I could ever ask for. I was born in Southfield, MI. I’ve spent most of my life in Florida. I grew up in Jacksonville (Fruit Cove-heck ya!) from 3rd grade to right before I got married. Colby and I have been married for almost 4 years and together 9 years. I have two best friends. Megan and Meagan. Funny enough both of their last names used to start with “Ch” but Meagan got married and is no longer a “Ch.”
As for education.. I have my AA in business and a technical certificate in business operations from Florida State College. I have my executive certificate in advanced negotiations from Notre Dame. I attended Columbia College Chicago as a graphic design major/photo minor to retake the pre-reqs I needed after I changed my major from business, and for the price, it’s not worth it. I did finish the minor and pre-reqs but I’ll be finishing my education elsewhere. I hope to finish my BFA at UNF or Flagler.
I work a full time day job for a large insurance company. I am a contract negotiator for behavioral health. I’ve been working at this insurance company for 6 years.
As for the technical side of things… I’ve been shooting for 6 years, in business for 2. I shoot with a D80 (though I’d love a D700 if anyone wants to “gift” it to me
haha). My favorite lens is my 50mm 1.4D. I have various other lenses but primarily shoot with that.
I love being in the sun. I love sunsets. I can’t wait to see the beach again. I hate Chicago’s weather. Even though my heavier weight isn’t any indication, I love fitness, exercise, and activity. I work at home for both my day job and the non shooting side of my photo business so I have to find activity somewhere. I love running. My passion is for animals. I love sushi and can’t get enough of Harney and Son’s Chocolate Mint tea! I LOOOOOVVVEEEE that stuff!
I love arts and crafts. When I retire I’ll probably be the next Martha Stewart. Sad… I know.
In the future I’d love to have another Mustang, but it looks like the Ford Edge is in my future instead (that’ll be my mommy wagon some day).

I love my iPhone.
I’m very outgoing, friendly, and OVERLY talkative (some of you are going awwww yeaaaaahhhh she is!) but that’s what makes me special! hahaha!
I love my family and friends. They mean the world to me.
