Bone Yard Beach | Talbot Island | Florida

When my little brother’s girlfriend, Corrie, asked me if I wanted to go with her to Talbot Island, I was like, “HECK YA!” Seriously. Who DOESN’T want to go to Talbot Island. I love that place. It’s popularly known as “The beach with all of the fallen down trees” because really, it is a beach...

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Park | Cowles Bog Trail

Yesterday, Colby and I took the dogs out to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Park. We had decided we wanted to go to Cowles Bog trail and Mount Baldy. Let’s just say, we didn’t make it to either… We started out the day WAYYY too early for when I usually get up, especially for a...

Honey, I am again amazed at what your eye sees that no others do, until you lead them to your vision with photo-art like these. Love. Dad.

Amazing photos!! I, too love the fog. It is eery yet beautiful. The trip sounds so fun, they rarely go according to plan! All the poochies look good, Jayda is so cute nipping at the surf-it would be funny if she came out with a fish! The spider web photos look like a string of diamonds, really pretty. The flora of the area is beautiful and you captured its essence. Beautiful work. Love, Mom

These are so cool. Really wish we had some of those old grungy buildings here in Vancouver.

Illinois/Midwest-A Place Where Not Even Weeds Thrive-Part 2

So yesterday I was too chicken to open the door to the barn that was already partly cracked open, so I figured I’d go back with Colby. We went this morning. This morning was perfect to show you how gloomy and depressing Illinois is. It was gray and ugly outside, the way it is for...

Illinois/Midwest-A Place Where Not Even Weeds Thrive.

Many of you know Colby and I are in the process of moving back to Florida. We’re waiting for someone to buy our house so we can move back to Florida where our friends and my family live. I’ve grown very antsy and rather intolerant of waiting (patience is not one of my virtues). I...
