Canine Good Citizen | Riley

I was recently working on a proposal for the annual ShootQ grant. Part of my proposal involved Riley, my middle child but biggest mama’s boy, becoming therapy dog certified. As part of the proposal, I was required to put a budget sheet together. One part I was listing was an itemized budget to get his...

Have you ever met someone that you thought had the perfect job or a job that you thought would be “so fun” to do? I’ve always wondered how awesome it would be to be a professional musician, a cowgirl, a farmer, or a fashion designer. Everyone has an idea of what is means to have...

Blessed To Tears | This is where I belong

It wasn’t looking good… At all… Nope. Not gonna happen. Our 26 foot Penske rental truck would not hold all of our stuff. What’s a girl to do? We had to leave a bunch of our stuff back at the house in Illinois. We have a running list of stuff Colby will have to ship...

Love these images! It’s very soothing for the soul. I can only imagine how hard this time will be but as you know God has a plan for the both of you. Keep strong in your faith and look to him for extra strength and he will see you through. On those days you need an extra dose, look back on these images and hopefully they will bring a calmness to you as well. As always Beautiful work Jen!

Goodbye Chicago

While opening a new chapter in my life is very exciting, it doesn’t come without pain. In my time in Chicago, I’ve had access to some pretty great things that I took for granted. Yesterday, I sort of completed one of my 101 in 1001 items but with a little modification since I have less...

Aww, dang it! I’m getting all teary eyed again! lol. I am so lucky I was able to make such a great friend. :) Because you are so right, it is easy to make acquaintances, but it is so hard to make a true friend. Although I am very sad to see you go back to Florida, I know great things are just waiting to happen for you there. I can’t wait to visit you and see what Jacksonville is like! Good luck with your move! See you Tuesday!
