I got my fuel (coffee), I don’t have my fire (energy) and I definitely don’t have that which I desire. I desire more sleep! Ugh, do I dare say happy Monday? Maybe not. It’s 7am… Monday morning. I usually sleep until 8:45 but had to get up at 5:50 to take Colby to the Metra so I could have the car today to run some errands during my lunch break at Aetna. I started thinking, “Whatever, just let him drive and I’ll run my errands later,” but I knew that was just the sleep talking. So I got up, put on my exercise clothes, and, well, I’m not exercising that’s for sure! I will…. at some point. I have another 2 hours before I start “work.”
People frequently talk about bad hair days. Are there such thing as bad camera days? I swear to you, I’ve shot four rounds of photos this morning to end up with what you’ll see in this blog. Gosh, for some reason my photos were either color casted, not focused on what I thought should be the right place, not the right subject, etc. But, of course, I didn’t know any of this until I shot the photos and put them on my computer. I think it’s just a case of the Monday’s. I’m not on top of my game yet. But I will be after I hit the treadmill.
Today’s photo of the day is actually 4 photos of the day. They are photos of my new “portfolio” I guess you could call it. I recently ordered some sample prints so I can have them to show my clients and I needed something to present them in. Although I’d love to have a folio from Cypress, they are a bit pricey for how many photos I ordered as samples, but the folio will come soon
I’m still waiting on my sample album to arrive too! SOOO excited about that! Anyway, so I went out yesterday in search of something to use and found this wonderful scrapbook! Who would have thought a scrapbook would work so well?? But I saw it and knew I had to have it. It was perfect. The four blank areas on the front are for wallet sized pictures, but once I get my business cards in the mail (arriving this week!!!!) they will be slipped into the front. Way to brand it huh? While I was shopping, I ran into my July 10th bride, Jessica (click her name to see her e-session photos)! I’m so excited to be shooting her wedding a week from this upcoming Friday! Colby will be second shooting for me. He’s a bit nervous but he did really well as my second shooter for the wedding I shot last Saturday.
Ok, enough rambling. I need to kick my butt onto the treadmill now… Until tomorrow, happy Monday!
